Our journey began in 1995 in the heart of Kahramanmaraş, in Dulkadiroğlu, within a modest 100 m² workshop; today, it continues in our modern facilities with 10,000 m² of indoor and 17,000 m² of outdoor space. As Karpedo, we carry the 300-year-old tradition of Maraş ice cream into the future with 46 different varieties of ice cream.
Our secret lies in balance: we combine the vision of our food engineers, who work with academic precision, with the seasoned craftsmanship and strength of our traditional ice cream masters. We warm the mechanical coldness of machines with the lively spirit our masters infuse while pounding the ice cream. This unique synergy—where labor meets technology and tradition meets science—is the greatest guarantee of the distinctive texture and quality found in every spoon of Karpedo.

The Natural Aroma of Ahir Mountain: The character of our ice cream comes from the rich flora surrounding Ahir Mountain in Kahramanmaraş. The milk of goats fed on this vegetation gives our ice cream its famous natural aroma.
Goat Milk and Pure Whiteness: Karpedo’s bright white color and its signature firmness—so dense it can be cut with a knife—are achieved only by using the highest quality goat milk.
Wild Orchids and Genuine Salep: The “law” of Maraş ice cream is clear: salep is essential. We use natural salep obtained from the tubers of wild orchids in the region to achieve its characteristic texture.
Pounding Technique and Elasticity: Our ice cream is not simply frozen; it is carefully pounded by skilled masters. This traditional technique gives it its unique elasticity.

With a daily production capacity of 80 tons, our facilities package ice cream without human contact using state-of-the-art machinery. With dozens of varieties such as Plain, Cocoa, Pistachio, Caramel, Almond, Strawberry, Blackberry, Sour Cherry, and Melon, we combine real fruit pieces with 100% milk, sugar, and pure salep.
Our goal is not only to preserve this unique flavor locally but also to introduce it to markets across Türkiye and the world under the healthiest conditions. Today, we reach our consumers through major retail chains. With our own refrigerated fleet, we provide uninterrupted service to all 81 provinces and bring our products to tables around the world in line with our global export goals.

The bright white color of Karpedo Maraş ice cream and its distinctive firmness, which requires cutting with a knife, also come from goat’s milk.
